September 27, 1960 - October 28, 2025

Dear friends, 

Premanand (Dinesh Trivedi, a beloved member of the Mumbai Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed his task on Tuesday, October 28,  2025, at 8 p.m., India time. He suffered a sudden heart attack while reading and singing Meher Baba songs.

Premanand was born on September 27, 1960. At his death, he was 65 years old. He joined the Fellowship on July 20, 2005. He was able to visit Apollo quite recently, where he joined in the Apollo Beautiful efforts. Students note that he brought fine energy back to the center of Mumbai.

The students in India sent out this tribute to Premanand: “A gentle person, ever warm in presence and pure of heart, he touched many lives with quiet kindness, sincerity, and essence.” Another friend writes, “He was a very soft and loving person, never expressing negativity towards others. He carried out several third line octaves, including refreshments and center cleaning and maintenance. He arranged city tours for many students who visited. He was active in outreach to prospective students, and welcomed several into the school.”

He will be missed.
