April 24, 1970 - December 25, 2025

Dear friends, 

Alexander Yaremenko, a beloved member of the Kyiv Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed his task on Thursday, December 25, at about 2 p.m., Ukraine time. He had suffered from stomach cancer.

Alexander was born on April 24, 1970. At his death, he was 55 years old. He joined the Fellowship on February 24, 2001.

A friend writes, “We will remember him as a responsible student who always supported the Kyiv center, a good friend who could always be relied upon, who quietly worked hard and helped maintain a sense of presence in others.”

He will be missed.
