July 11, 1936 - September 30, 2026

Dear friends,

Germana Federico, a beloved member of the Apollo Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed her task on September 30, 2026, at 11:11 p.m.

Germana was born on July 11, 1936, and was 90 years old on her last birthday. She joined the Fellowship in Milan, Italy, on November 7, 1984. She moved to Apollo nearly thirty years ago, where she purchased Villa Anna, the first house built by students. At dinners on the lawn of her home, she would frequently toast: “To our incredible good fortune to be in the School, in such a beautiful place and under Robert’s guidance.”

Germana was a master painter whose works in oils and pastels have beautified Apollo and the homes of her many friends.

Her love and respect for Robert remained constant, even when her mind was impaired by dementia. At lunch with friends at Apollo d’Oro, her gaze would often turn toward Robert’s table, and her smile would return the gentle touch he often gave her when he left the room. 

She will be missed.
