November 16, 1974 - September 23, 2026

Dear friends,

Slava (Vyacheslav) Tuchnin, a beloved member of the Kyiv Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed his task on September 23, 2026, at 5 a.m. European time, due to cancer.

Slava was born on November 16, 1974, and was 51 years old on his last birthday. He joined the Fellowship on February 22, 1998, in Odessa, and visited Apollo a number of times.

A friend wrote: “Slava was a strong supporter of the Kyiv and Odessa centers and constantly translated the meetings with Robert. He loved the Teacher and had a high valuation for the School.” His unswerving loyalty to Robert and to students in the centers where he lived was a focus of his work.

He will be missed.

On behalf of all who knew you, we give thanks.
